This handsome sandpiper is a hand-carved in natural wood by L. (Larry) McLaughlin from Levittown, PA, dated 1975. The detail is wonderful and accurate. The sandpiper from bill tail is approx. 8 in. The signed and dated base is approx. 6 in. at the longest point.
My family bought this piece from Larry in 1975.
